A salad and a light meal in one . For a more wholesome dinner,just buy some fresh pitas, slather some hummus and fill it up with this goodness. Healthy and awesome!!
- 1/2 cup Bengal gram / Kala chana, soaked overnight and then boiled
- 1/4 of a red bell pepper, finely diced
- 1/4 of a green bell pepper, finely diced
- 1/4 of a red/ white onion, finely chopped
- 1 boiled potato, cubed
- 1 tomato, seeded and finely diced
- 2 tsp Chopped mint
- 3-4 tsp Chopped cilantro/ coriander
- Juice of a lemon
- 3/4 tsp chaat masala
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin powder
- salt to taste
Mix everything in a big bowl. Serve chilled.
