Bengal gram salad

A salad and a light meal in one . For a more wholesome dinner,just buy some fresh pitas, slather some hummus and fill it up with this goodness. Healthy and awesome!!




      Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup Bengal gram / Kala chana, soaked overnight and then boiled
  • 1/4 of a red bell pepper, finely diced 
  • 1/4 of a green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/4 of a red/ white onion, finely chopped 
  • 1 boiled potato, cubed
  • 1 tomato, seeded and finely diced
  • 2 tsp Chopped mint
  • 3-4 tsp Chopped cilantro/ coriander
  • Juice of a lemon
  • 3/4 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin powder
  • salt to taste
Mix everything in a big bowl. Serve chilled.
